Food truck operators hoping for big business at Bridgeport’s Seaside Park

BRIDGEPORT — Just after getting laid off for the duration of the coronavirus pandemic from his position with an location printing company, Lloyd Hopeton Reid made a decision to get extra serious about working with his culinary skills to receive a dwelling.

“I’ve been cooking since I’m compact,” explained the Jamaican-born-and-lifted Reid, whose spouse and children moved to Bridgeport in the 1980s and who as an adult has done some catering in his spare time. “I claimed, ‘That’s the only detail I could do.’”

So he invested in a foods truck, dubbed “Father Murray’s Kitchen,” his nickname taking part in cricket.
