This weekend I went to Aloha Poké, a Hawaiian influenced cafe at 220 E. Buffalo St. in the Historic 3rd Ward. They also have two other areas in Wisconsin including a spot in the Wauwatosa Village and at the Mequon General public Sector. 

“Poké” means diced raw fish. It 1st originated in Hawaii in the 1970’s and began with Japanese fisherman. Aloha Poké serves a menu of healthful modern-day poké bowls with the two raw and cooked, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, gluten cost-free and pescatarian proteins to opt for from.



I experienced the honor to satisfy 1 of the co-house owners Brian Wang. He owns the restaurant with his brother Tom. They opened their initial restaurant four decades ago in the Third Ward. This Aloha Poké location is decorated with pictures of the shorelines in Hawaii. The cafe is really thoroughly clean and structured.



Brian pointed out that all their elements are freshly designed and ready appropriate at the poké cafe. They slice up all the substances every single solitary early morning. They consider in fresh meals, but sustainably. Their meat has no antibiotics in it, and their fish is pole caught.
