SAN ANTONIO – The latest new foodie location in San Antonio is Hanamaru Cafe, found at 7460 Callaghan Rd.
“We required to open one thing that no one had in San Antonio exactly where we could provide the “taiyaki” in, where it is additional varied,” co-owner Wickey Su-Mei claimed.
From sweet to savory fillings, you can decide on from a selection of flavors that are stuffed inside of the fish-shaped cakes.
“It’s kind of like a waffle and it has mochi within, so it is a very little chewy and delicate but also has a minor bit of crisp as very well,” Su-Mei claimed.
Hanamaru Cafe has only been open up a couple of weeks, but by now the eatery is getting popularity with its Instagram-deserving treats–together with “taiyaki” served with matcha soft serve ice product.
“It’s been seriously busy and we did not assume it to be this outrageous,” she explained.
The entrepreneurs have been ideal close friends for above ten a long time, both equally one moms, and their purpose is to share their tradition (and appreciate for food items) with all the San Antonio foodies.
“We just needed a thing where we had a little something fiscally secure, something we could give off to our young children just one working day,” Su-Mei stated.
The menu features Japanese soda floats, nikuijaga bowls which incorporate meat, potatoes, and spices on a bed of rice. They also have product cheese foam teas and a lot more.
